Period 4-Movie E

  1. Nice video, wouldnt there be thermal energy transfered from your hand to the ball since your body has heat? I think it would? Also, would there be gravitational energy in the ball since its falling? Otherwise it was very good and very understandble!

  2. It was good... except there was gravitational energy in the ball on the fall.

  3. i couldnt hear the video very well but i think there would have been thermal energy being transfered

  4. The ball being held and falling would cause gravitational energy.

  5. i liked the way you explained what happens, i could really undetand what you're talking about. but shouldn't there be thermal energy because of the friction created in the air?

  6. I think you forgot to mention the gravitational energy as the ball falls from the hand, through the air. -Ashley Tarbutton

  7. You did a nice job of making the video clear, but I noticed that you said there was thermal energy coming from the ball as it was dropping to the ground, but wouldn't that be gravitational energy instead?

  8. Nice job describing it,it was really easy to understand. You only mentioned that there was thermal energy in the air, but wouldn't it also be in the ball?

  9. 1. I think you forgot to mention the gravitational kinetic energy as the ball is falling to the ground.
    2. How is there thermal energy present as the ball is falling through the air?
    -Ashley Tarbutton, period 3.

  10. Also, I think you forgot to mention the gravitational energy as the ball is falling, besides that, good job!

  11. How is there kinetic energy in the air? Also shouldn't there some thermal energy in the hand. -Niko Legg P.3

    1. The kinetic energy was kinetic sound energy.

  12. Also, wouldn't the hand transfer thermal energy to the ball since you're holding it?

  13. You did a nice job descrining the energy being transferred. Wouldn't there also be gravitationl energy when the ball is falling?

  14. I think you forgot to say your names at the beginning, but otherwise it wasvery understandable.

  15. At the beginning, you didn't mention your names in the video. You just showed someone saying the content.

  16. good job at describing energy tranfers, couldnt really hear it but from what heard/saw. it was good.

  17. Wouldn't there be gravitational energy because the ball is dropping out of your hand?

  18. Is there any potencial energy in the objects?
    Name the group members.
Was there any sound in the air during the process?

  19. How is there kinetic energy in the air?

    Couldn't hear the members names.

    Presentation was neat.

  20. you did a nice job, but wouldnt it be gravitational and thermal when the ball is falling? hannah. p3

  21. gravitational energy is a kind of potential energy!!!! when the ball is moving all it's energy is being transformed into kinetic mechanical, also air is a sustance, and when a substance moves across another one, it becomes hotter, unless it's ice or something, so when the ball is falling, it moves the air around, creating thermal energy BOOM MIND=BLOWN.

  25. I could hear you very well and you showed the difference between the cubes by flipping them to the correct side. Nice job!

  26. It was a good explanation. you forgot a couple of thing like your group members names. also there would be gravitational energy because the ball would be falling.

  27. However, what about thermel? We talked about how this happens in class, so did you guys think of it?

    ReplyDelete
  28. you guys didn't introduce yourselves

  29. you explained the topic very clearly, but shouldnt there be gravitational energy rather than thermal energy when the ball was in the air?

  33. I liked that you mentioned the mechanical enegry in the hand as the hand opened to release the ball.
