Period 3-Video D

  1. Great video. Would there be thermal energy due to friction of the ball dropping? I really liked how i could follow the transfers but i was curious abouut the wayy you set your table up, why did you pick a triangle formation instead of a line formation to present this information?

  2. Friction would have been created on the drop of the ball. Therefore there was thermal energy involved, and you did not mension that.

  3. thermal would have been needed on the drop.

  4. While the ball travels through the air, the air creates resistance witch can heat the ball up therefore causing kinetic thermal energy.

  5. when the ball drops there is friction. therefore there would be thermal energy in the scenario. i am also wondering why you chose a triangle shape for your table and not a line in the steps it hits the ground. ex. hand ball ground.

  6. What kind of kinetic energy does it have when it bounces back up?

I could tell you guys practiced and your explaination was understandable.
Wouldn't there be thermal energy while the ball is in the air? Also, why does all of the kinetic energy transfer to the ground?

  8. Very nice sound quality.
Seems very practiced and you understand the concepts.
How is there sound energy in the air before the ball is even dropped?

  9. Very good presentation.

    Clear understanding of everything.

Is there any potential enerfy in the ball before something happens?

  10. great explanation.
was there any type of energy while the ball bounces up agin? if so what kind?
other than that it was really good.

  11. great explantaion on your video maybe you could talk more clearly

  12. straight forward and easy to follow. wouldn't there be thermal energy in the ball and the ground theough? and also, the ball is always moving so i think that not all the kinetic mechanical energy is transferred from the ball to the ground maybe only half.

  13. What about the Thermal ? Didn't hear it mentioned.

  19. I saw that you started with Sound in the Air circle and the rest in the Ball circle. After the balled hit the ground, you switched a cube over to the Air circle, but never gave it a name as to what it was. Did you mean to say Thermal?

  20. That was a great job explaining. it was loud and clear and to the point. One thing, there would be thermal energy in the air due to the ball falling.

  21. Overall, I could hear you clearly and you seemed to know what you were talking about.

  22. why does the kinetic energy move to the ground?

    1. And what kind of kinetic energy?

  23. i noticed that there was sound energy from when the ball hit the ground. i was wondering if there should be gravitational energy due to the fact that the ball is being dropped. you didn't mention that.
